Located on a building oriented to the south, surrounded by a garden with pines and composed of a ground floor, first floor and top floor. Only nine neighbours in total and most of them live abroad.
A private parking place for one car is located just in front of the building, marked with the same number as the apartment, Nr. 7.
Apartment 1 Carboneres is on the first floor, with private stairs to the entrance on the backside of the building. It is a cosy, large and comfortable 76 m2 apartment with a capacity for 5 people, but best suited for 4 to be fully comfortable.
Main bedroom with a double size bed and full wardrobe. Second bedroom with two single beds and a wardrobe. Comfortable mattresses to have a good rest. There is a fifth sleeping place consisting of an extra folding bed.
All rooms are large and bright, with natural light and independent air conditioning and heating units, and are well equipped to offer maximum convenience.
There are two bathrooms: the main one with toilet, washbasin and bathtub, and the second one with toilet and washbasin, where also the washing machine is placed.
Fully-equipped separate kitchen with oven, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and dishwasher.
Large piece combining living room and dining room, with panoramic sliding windows and access to the terrace.
A dining area with a table and 5 chairs, and cupboards with all kind of plates and glasses. The living area has a decorative fireplace and two sofas, a TV with Pal/Secam and satellite dish.
Thanks to the layout of the apartment, it will remain fresh during the summer with its natural air circulation. Just open the doors to the terrace (facing South) and windows next to the entrance (facing North) and the long corridor will do the rest to obtain a natural ventilation.
From the 12 square meter terrace, there is a nice view over Sea and Mountains. It is protected from the direct sun most of the day thanks to the arched roof, which makes it a nice and fresh spot. Equipped with exterior table and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors.
Both the interior and the exterior of the apartment are taken care of down to the last detail so that you do not miss anything. The walls combine soft pastel colours, optimize space, reflect natural light and give it a pleasant atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

Hemos pasado 15 dias maravillosos en este apartamento. Lo conocimos hace seis años y desde entonces estamos viniendo por aquí. El apartamento? Maravilloso! Tiene todo lo imprescindible y necesario para estar comodamente, incluido lavavajillas y wifi. Y como valor añadido una terraza maravillosa, que es lo que más valoramos nosotros, y de lo que más disfrutamos.

Situated in a Beautiful Spot in the Coast
Goed verzorgd appartement, rustig gelegen op een prachtige plek aan de kust, slechts gescheiden van zee door een wandelpad dat van Llanca naar Port de Selva loopt. Een half uurtje lopen naar de haven of naar het oude dorp waar verschillende restaurantjes en de gezelligheid te vinden valt. De buurt leent zich voor mooie uitstapjes als Monestir Pere Rodes, Girona, Besalu, Figueres en nog meer. Het dichtst bijzijnde strandje is op slechts enkele minuten lopen.

Location conforme à la description, idéalement située, une vue de la mer agréable , qui se trouve à 200 m, la voiture peut rester sur le parking durant tout le séjour, car tout se trouve à proximité, le joli port de Llanca, les bons restaurants, les plages, le chemin de la ronde pour les balades ou les footings pour les sportifs, courir tout le long du chemin de la ronde jusqu’à puerto de la Selva puis revenir à Llança, parcours magnifique avec la mer à côté pendant 14 km.
Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. De très bons conseils de visites nous ont été donné.
Nous y reviendrons forcément, très gros coup de coeur pour cet endroit magnifique.et cet appartement bien exposé et décoré avec goût.

It is a strategic point of the Catalan coast, where mountain and sea combine as the Pyrenees take a dive in the Mediterranean Sea. Be ready for a unique landscape full of natural surroundings.
1r Carboneres is located in a privileged headland area with Sea at South, North and East. The building is in a very quiet residential neighbourhood with plenty of trees around.
It has the advantage of being very close to the Port de Llançà area with restaurants, pizzerias, bars, shops, bakeries, supermarkets, beauty salons, a diving centre, kayak clubs, sailing, yacht rentals…
In the Port area, there are a few places that are great for small children such as playgrounds (also one on the Platja del Port Beach) and an attraction park with a barbecue restaurant.
When it comes to going to the beach, this apartment is perfectly situated. You will have a choice of 7 different nearby beaches within a radius of 500 meters. The closest one, Carboneres Beach at 180 meters, is one of our favourites to practice snorkelling or free diving. Don’t expect fine sand on that beach though, if you are looking for fine sand some other beaches would suit better your taste.
Actually, there are over 30 beaches in the vicinity of Llançà, so you can explore a different one every day. Visit the Explore Costa Brava section for more information.
Just a few steps away there is the scenic coastal walking path “Camí de Ronda”, which stretches along the coast several kilometres in both directions, perfect for a pleasant promenade. You will find people trekking, strolling, running, walking the dog, cycling…
You can take a left and will get to the port in no time via a very scenic path along the coastline, or take a right direction Port de la Selva, which is approximately 7-8 kilometres away.
We regularly take a walk along “Camí de Ronda” till the next town and we never get tired of it. Along the way, you can find a large number of beaches, coves and different accesses from the rocky formations to the sea.
A great place to practice any sport: swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, cycling, running, taking a scenic walk, or just relaxing in the beach.
It is frankly an ideal place to spend your holidays if you are looking for comfort, calmness, convenience, inspiring views, a fresh interior or a nice environment to practice any sport.

How to get there
By plane: The closest Airports are Girona – Costa Brava (GRO) and Barcelona – El Prat (BCN). There is a good offer on rental cars on both airports. We recommend a car if you want to visit move around the area.
By Train: There is a Train Station in Llançà. Line R11 from Barcelona to Portbou. It is a 30 minutes walk from the station to the apartment.
By car:
(1) From the A-7 motorway, take exit number 3 (if you come from France) or exit number 4 (if you come from Barcelona or Girona) and follow the directions towards Llançà, following road N-260.
(2) Once you take the exit to Llançà you will see a “Repsol” petrol station. Follow the road and after a sharp left curve, you will find a roundabout. Continue straight direction “Port the la Selva”.
(3) After 300 meters you will find a slight left exit from the road. Take it and continue on street “Cap de Creus” for 150 meters. Turn left to “Avinguda Carboneres”. Take then the third street left “Jaume I” up till the end, then turn right. The second building ·Edificio Castelares 1” is your destination. Park the car in front of the building on place Nr. 7, which is the private parking place for the apartment.
House Rules
Reservations are for full weeks and arrivals and departures are always on Saturdays.
Arrivals are from 16h to 20h. We can adapt these times depending on each situation, but It is always necessary that we agree an estimated time of arrival.
Departures are before 10h.
We love pets, and you are most welcome to bring them with you as long as they are well raised and will not destroy the apartment 😉
Additional Services
1. WiFi:
We have installed a WiFi private network for our guests. If you are interested in using the WiFi, the price is just 15€ a week.
2. Bed linen and towels rent:
We offer, in case you would prefer not to bring it yourselves, a rental of bed linen and towels. The price is 15€ per person. One set includes bed linen and a bath towel per person, plus and a hand towels and kitchen rags.
3. Air condition and heat pump:
The price includes 30kWh/week of electricity usage, which is the normal consumption of an average family. Because we had cases in the past where our guests made an irresponsible use of air condition (such as leaving it on during the whole day with open windows) we started asking for a deposit of 20€/week at the beginning of the stay. At the end of the stay we read the consumption, and in case the 30kWh/week which are included are exceeded, we charge the difference at a rate of 0.56€/kWh. You can decide whether you would like to use the air conditioner or not at the moment you enter the apartment.
